How To Keep Fresh Input For Your Facebook Page

Does your Facebook page get neglected, does it need a fresh input of data and information for your readers?

The way marketing is done on Facebook is very much different from how it's done on television, radio, or in print. In order to effectively utilize the social media site as a marketing platform, you must know how to maximize its different unique features first. Only then can you have a stronger foothold in the online competition and rake revenues from social channels.

1. Update your About section

Put in details on what is special about your company or your products or services. Don't leave this page blank, if you have a strapline or tagline this is where you should put it!

2. Refrain from the hard-sell approach

Don't be pushy be pulley, don't show price lists or hard selling tactics. Hard selling can lead to users unfollowing your page.

3. Post regularly

Content is king, the beauty of Facebook is being able to use social media over traditional media when it comes to marketing. Post regularly with new and relevant information, depends on the nature and content.

4. Add visual aids

Pictures and videos can add interest to your articles. Post with catchy attention grabbing headlines. Some posts get seen via other users and circles of peers, in which case it is advisable to add a watermark on the images and posts.

5. Interaction with Users

Try ways to attract engagement with users, surveys, or games. Get people to like and share your posts, one example is to advertise a competition, where number of likes score towards the accreditation process.

6. Respond to questions quickly

Any recent questions or engagement on Facebook should be answered as quickly as possible, certainly within a few days. Building a sense of community and rapport to people is important, where each voice is heard.
