Entrepreneurial Spirit

Posted on 6th Jan 2012 by Mark Eslick

The world we once new is changing. The realisation across every walk of life is that excess in our lives will lead to disaster and common sense will prevail.

Over the last decade we have seen cheap credit, cheap goods from asia and the far east, and at home a bureaucratic and bloated public sector have all lead the uk and the western world to its knees.

The internet has enabled better communication for everyone, recently the introduction of social media has also given us all an open playing field for the east and west to do business. Entrepreneurs have been able to adapt and work with these changes and have become more creative, passionate and hard working.

Entrepreneurs represent a major percentage of the SME in the business sectors and whilst creating employment for themselves they make a huge impact to the employment market.

The West must now concentrate on finding the means to support the lives we have become accustomed to. To do this we need to raise the bar of efficiencies, support manufacturing and export, and be more protective of our core competencies. Bring on the entrepreneurs!
